Where to stay
Several comfortable hotels and bed & breakfasts are located in the city centre of Neuchâtel. Accommodation is also available in La Chaux-de-Fonds or Biel/Bienne, both cities being about 30 minutes from Neuchâtel by train. By staying in official accommodation (hotel or aparthotel) in the canton of Neuchâtel, you will receive the Neuchâtel Tourist Card, which grants free use of urban public transport during your stay. Tickets are issued via the app FAIRTIQ.The same card also provides free access to a range of activities in the canton (leisure activities, museums, boat cruises).
Most conference venues, tour locations, and recommended hotels are located close to the main conference sites. We encourage participants to use public transport or simply walk, as most destinations are within a 20–30 minute walk. We do not recommend taxis, as they can be very expensive even for short distances.
